Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Finance Department in Serbia and support decisions shaping the business locally and in the region.
  • •Manage operational information, financial statements, forecasts, and budgets, including the design of budget processes and management control procedures.
  • •Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual finance reports and analysis (P&L and cost-saving plans), including variance and deviation justifications.
  • •Assess investment/projects viability and analyze new business opportunities and vertical developments, including incubating and launching new projects in the country.
  • •Oversee financial policy monitoring and, when needed, treasury/accounting; supervise relationships with third parties such as external auditors, administrations, and external consultants.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of total experience, including 5+ years in Finance and/or Consulting and 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or business; MBA/ACCA/CPA certification is an advantage.
  • •Knowledge of local accounting and tax standards (Local GAAP).
  • •Demonstrated problem-solving ability: hypothesis-driven work using data to drive decisions, deep dives to identify root causes, and improvement proposals for stakeholders.
  • •Experience building and managing high-performance teams with strong prioritization, multitasking, and delivery under pressure.
