Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage all ACAS Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal activity efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • •Conduct advocacy at Employment Tribunal hearings when required.
  • •Prioritise and assess incoming claims, provide risk evaluations, and advise stakeholders on prospects and strategy.
  • •Draft Employment Tribunal responses and develop case management and defence strategies, identifying key risk areas.
  • •Prepare hearing documentation and liaise with external stakeholders including ACAS, unions, solicitors, and barristers.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong knowledge of UK employment law and data protection.
  • •Demonstrable hands-on experience representing an organisation at Employment Tribunal hearings, including conducting advocacy.
  • •Experience advising on all aspects of employment law, ideally in an in-house environment.
  • •Experience managing Employment Tribunal cases and working with ACAS conciliations.
  • •CIPD qualified or working towards, and strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
