Job Summary

Design foundations, steel structures, and concrete structures for mining infrastructure projects, ensuring calculations and deliverables meet industry standards and Australian/international codes. Conduct structural analysis and design using tools like Space Gass, STAAD Pro, SACS, Tekla, E3D, and S3D, coordinate with other engineering disciplines, and produce drawings, specifications, and reports. Provide QC self-checks, redline CAD drawings, and support constructability and field issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare foundation, steel structure, and concrete structure design calculations in compliance with industry standards.
•Perform structural analysis and design using tools including Space Gass, STAAD Pro, SACS, Tekla, E3D, or S3D.
•Prepare civil and structural drawings, specifications, and design calculations; calculate loads and select structural members.
•Design shallow/deep foundations, concrete piles, underground concrete vaults and tunnels, and slab reinforcement for varying loading conditions.
•Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and support constructability by verifying field conditions and resolving field construction problems.

Key Requirements

•13–16 years of experience in structures engineering.
•Minimum bachelor’s degree in civil; preferred master’s degree in civil/structure engineering.
•Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills, including excellent written and verbal English.
•Strong attention to detail and familiarity with working in a LEAN environment.
•C. Eng or P. Eng qualification would be an added advantage; valid passport required.
