Key Responsibilities

  • •Review, validate, and process outside counsel and legal vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with engagement letters, billing guidelines, and approved budgets
  • •Identify billing errors and negotiate adjustments with law firms as appropriate while maintaining legal spend tracking and reporting
  • •Coordinate insurance claims for reimbursable legal expenses with carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators, including submission, tracking, reconciliation, and escalation
  • •Assist with internal review of commercial contracts, flagging financial risks and maintaining a centralized contract repository
  • •Support internal audit activities (control testing, sampling, documentation) and help improve policies and procedures for legal spend, vendor management, and recovery

Key Requirements
