Job Summary

Lead AECOM’s Pipeline Design Practice as a technical lead for large-diameter conveyance projects across water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater treatment. You’ll guide engineers and designers from concept through completion, develop and review design/construction deliverables, conduct field inspections, and provide mentorship. Collaborate with project managers and clients, assess industry trends, and support strategy and proposal development while working from Boston/Chelmsford/Rocky Hill/Providence in a hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead a team of engineers and designers to design and engineer large-diameter pipeline projects from conception to completion.
•Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
•Develop and review design and construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
•Evaluate and improve selection or modification of techniques, procedures, criteria, and systems for conveyance projects.
•Conduct field inspections and assessments and prepare engineering reports and technical studies to support delivery.

•Experience designing water, sewer, and drainage infrastructure 18-inches in diameter and larger.
•Ability to lead engineers and designers and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
