Key Responsibilities

  • •Support R&D of next-generation electro-optical devices and EO sub-systems for high-speed communication.
  • •Define electrical specifications for EO sub-systems and evaluation boards, including schematic design and component selection/characterization.
  • •Handle layout considerations and implementation, and provide fabrication and assembly guidance.
  • •Perform hands-on development and testing in a data center interconnect lab environment.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and researchers to develop future components and systems.

Key Requirements

  • •B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Practical Engineer certificate, or equivalent experience.
  • •10+ years of experience with electro-optical and high-speed board design.
  • •Strong background in high-frequency and broadband design (>20GHz).
  • •Good system-level understanding and thermal/mechanical design considerations.
  • •Good SI/PI understanding for multi-layer PCB design; experience with high-end measurements in an electro-optical high-speed lab environment.
