Key Responsibilities

  • •Support TRL reviews (to reach TRL6) and de-risking activities for future safety-critical platform architectures.
  • •Define high-level requirements for the IMA core processing perimeter, focusing on hardware virtualization and interfaces with A653 RTOS solutions.
  • •Act as a technical counterpart to potential suppliers during research and pre-development phases.
  • •Ensure early-stage designs are architected for applicable standards and initiate V&V and certification strategies to meet DAL-A.
  • •Maintain technical dossiers needed for eventual full-scale development launch (3–5 year horizon).

  • •Minimum 3 years of experience with a strong foundation in Electronics/Hardware/Software/A&C systems engineering.
  • •Knowledge of modern avionics platform architectures.
  • •Knowledge of hardware/software development constraints and DO-178 / DO-254 / ARP4754.
  • •System-level mindset: define what the module must do while leaving the supplier’s detailed design to partners.
  • •Familiarity with ARINC 653 concepts and real-time operating system constraints.
