Key Responsibilities

  • •Break down complicated systems into individual pieces to improve productivity.
  • •Visualize improvement opportunities and convert them into processes that meet aerospace quality standards.
  • •With assistance from the Engineering Manager, justify ideas, develop project schedules, and identify opportunities and risks with mitigation strategies.
  • •Prepare technical specifications and other documents used to procure technical services and products or work instructions.
  • •Own projects and/or multiple tasks within the functional discipline to significantly contribute to the team.

Key Requirements

  • •AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • •Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • •Working knowledge of mechanical design, pneumatics/hydraulic, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer.
  • •Demonstrated understanding of fundamentals including statistical process control and data analytics.
  • •Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes.
