Job Summary

Build customer relationships and identify financial needs through a consultative sales process as a Retail Personal Banker I. Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and sales/service, then use Financial Needs Assessment to drive cross-selling, appointments, and outside community activities. You’ll process teller transactions, partner with business teams (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment), help CSRs with sales/referrals, and meet production goals while following risk and ethics policies.

•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the value proposition.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales/community financial literacy activities as directed.
•Process teller transactions and work as part of the platform staff while referring to business partners and helping CSRs with sales/referrals.

Salary: USD 43,680 - 69,900 annually

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry (preferred).
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new consumer households and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Ability to represent Fifth Third professionally with strong verbal and written communication, and develop working knowledge of retail policies and procedures.
