Job Summary

Build institutional-grade FP&A models and valuation analysis to support Wealthsimple’s long-range planning and strategic decisions. Create integrated 3-statement financial models with scenario/sensitivity analysis, maintain a comps universe using public filings, and develop TAM and growth frameworks. Produce executive-ready KPI and performance materials, stress-test key metrics, and support ad hoc strategic work including capital allocation and competitive deep-dives.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and maintain integrated 3-statement financial models with 5-year projection horizons.
•Own scenario and sensitivity analysis tied to business drivers such as client growth, AUM mix, take rate, and product-line unit economics.
•Maintain a living comps universe and analyze peer 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and earnings transcripts for operating metrics, segment economics, and reporting practices.
•Develop TAM frameworks (bottoms-up and top-down) using primary regulatory, census, and industry data; quantify penetration and whitespace for strategic planning.
•Support executive and stakeholder reporting by producing KPI packages, performance narratives, supplemental exhibits, and helping stress-test key performance metrics.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 89,000 - 112,000 annually

Key Requirements

•2–4 years in investment banking, equity research, transaction advisory, or strategic finance, with strong modeling ability in Excel.
•Ability to build integrated 3-statement models from scratch and run DCF, LBO, and comps analysis.
•Deep comfort with public company filings including 10-K, 10-Q, proxy, and S-1, and the ability to contextualize key metrics.
•Strong understanding of capital allocation, return hurdles, and economic trade-offs beyond revenue growth.
•Clear written and verbal communication that can translate complex analysis for non-finance executives.
