Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead process and team safety, ensuring compliance with Rio Tinto HSE and quality standards across the casting process area.
  • •Lead and develop process specialists, metallurgists, and technicians to deliver safe, reliable, high-performing casting operations.
  • •Provide technical leadership for production across Kitimat’s casting facilities, supporting process optimisation, product quality, and customer requirements.
  • •Partner with Technical Services, Sales, and customers to resolve technical issues, support new product development, and maintain product quality standards.
  • •Lead improvement initiatives, conceptual studies, investment strategies, and ensure quality systems and laboratory performance for operational decision-making.
