Key Responsibilities

  • •Primary plant layouts for HV substations and equipment specifications for HV plant and related equipment
  • •Provide engineering design input to major infrastructure projects and develop optioneering and cable routes during pre-construction
  • •Develop specifications with technology specialists and external project partners; conduct tender evaluations and design assurance activities
  • •Design assurance of tender documentation and support during tender evaluation and supplier meetings
  • •Construction support including reviewing supplier designs, performing manufacturing assurance audits, FAT attendance and commissioning/fault resolution

  • •Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • •Extensive FEED designer, detailed design or owner’s engineer experience in HV substations
  • •Experience with consultancy, contractor or utility in the energy sector and client-facing
  • •Experience designing HV infrastructure at concept and FEED design stages
  • •Full driving licence
