Job Summary

Maintain and repair production equipment, tools, and machinery on the 2nd shift, ensuring safe, timely manufacturing and maximum equipment uptime. You’ll perform repairs and adjustments, operate shop tools and maintenance machines, and assist with electrical, pipe fitting, and installation of new plant equipment. The role includes preventive maintenance, improving equipment reliability and efficiency, and supporting housekeeping and safety programs.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and repair equipment, tools, and machinery, including making repairs and adjustments and dismantling components to replace defective parts.
•Operate shop tools and maintenance-related equipment and machines to support maintenance work.
•Assist with electrical projects and minor electrical repairs; support pipe fitting tasks and installation of plant equipment.
•Maintain production equipment uptime through preventive maintenance, reliability improvements, and operational efficiency upgrades.
•Support housekeeping and safety programs and assist with other related duties as needed.

Key Requirements

•At least one year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
•Understand basic electrical and pneumatic diagrams and diagnose 115 VAC control circuitry.
•Experience performing preventative maintenance and repairs to conveyor systems.
•Arc welding and oxy/fuel cutting experience.
•Basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge and ability to communicate with team members.
