Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise Quality Department staff, including scheduling, training, and performance development.
  • •Oversee laboratory testing of raw materials and dry-blend finished products; conduct investigations and support method development.
  • •Communicate quality issues to operations and leadership and assist in troubleshooting and corrective actions.
  • •Maintain accurate testing records and support LIMS/SAP data entry; manage product and raw material specifications.
  • •Support food safety and compliance activities including Quality SOPs, GMP/GLP, HACCP and GFSI programs, audits, inspections, and customer complaint investigations.

Key Requirements

  • •Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Engineering, or related fields.
  • •1–2 years of experience in quality, laboratory, or food safety roles; dry-ingredient blending and food manufacturing experience preferred.
  • •Experience with HACCP and GFSI standards (SQF, BRC, IFS, FS22000) plus SSOPs and quality management systems.
  • •Strong understanding of food safety regulations, including FSMA, and industry trends.
  • •Analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills with the ability to lead, coach, and develop team members.
