Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and perform metal joining and cutting operations on ferrous and nonferrous materials using welding and brazing equipment.
  • •Comply with environment, health, and safety guidelines and sustain 5S+ in the area.
  • •Receive work assignments and input required information into data collection systems.
  • •Read and follow manufacturing information, sketches, drawings, and instructions to weld parts in sequence and fabricate fixtures.
  • •Measure, align, and finish parts to engineering standards; perform routine equipment maintenance and statistical process control as required.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • •Welding certification/diploma in Basic Welding from an accredited institution.
  • •Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered (Active-Duty Military Service exempt).
  • •Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • •Welding certification in MIG and/or AWS welding certification is preferred.
