Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently perform complex quantitative and qualitative chemical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and final products using ICP-OES, GC/FID, GC/MS, HPLC, UV/Vis, FTIR, rheology, and thermal analysis.
  • •Maintain thorough documentation (Good Documentation Practices) for compliance and report results.
  • •Handle the lifecycle of samples from submittal to disposal and calibrate/maintain laboratory equipment.
  • •Provide training to other associates on QC test methods and equipment operating procedures; support internal and external audits.
  • •Lead analytical workload on projects with timelines <1 year and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and issue investigations.

Key Requirements

  • •AS in Chemistry or related program required. BS in Chemistry or related program preferred
  • •3+ years of analytical laboratory experience working with ICP and GC if AS Obtained OR 1+ year of analytical laboratory hands-on experience if BS obtained
  • •Experience with analytical techniques (ICP, GC-FID, GC/MS, HPLC, UV/Vis, FTIR, rheology, thermal analysis, tensile testing)
  • •Experience with calibration independently including calibration curve verification and report generation
  • •Experience with Minitab, JMP, or other statistical analysis software preferred
