Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical support and manages projects in pre-construction, construction and close out.
  • •Manage all aspects of project delivery and coordination of construction projects including planning, design, budgeting, scheduling, labor compliance and closeout activities.
  • •Evaluate architectural and engineering proposals and provide execution, contracting and awarding strategies and recommendations.
  • •Review and respond to RFCs, COPs, and CDs for quality assurance and merit.
  • •Prepare cost estimates and negotiate costs for extra services and change orders.
  • •Review contractor baseline schedules, analyze critical path and recovery schedules to monitor progress and ensure on-time delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • •Two years full time paid professional experience in a similar or equivalent position involved in project or construction management of Education Construction projects with values in excess of $15M, along with working within DSA
  • •Experience in utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  • •Experience in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects
  • •Possession of a valid Certificate of Registration as a Professional Engineer or Architect License (preferred)
