Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the roadmap for secure API access, reliability, and operational excellence in production.
  • •Drive execution with engineering to ship improvements that measurably reduce incidents, support load, and time-to-resolution.
  • •Design and partner with Security on credential management, authentication strategies, and secure connection protocols balancing security and developer experience.
  • •Build and improve webhook reliability, observability, and usability.
  • •Deliver API/webhook logs and diagnostics tooling so partners and internal teams investigate and recover from issues faster.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 93,000 - 120,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of product management experience, ideally with APIs, platform products, security, identity, auth, or infrastructure.
  • •Strong understanding of authentication and access patterns (e.g., OAuth2, API keys, JOSE, mTLS) and identity/access lifecycle.
  • •Comfort discussing architecture, threat/risk trade-offs, and reliability/observability with engineers.
  • •Customer-centric mindset with empathy for partner developers and operators; translate production pain into product priorities.
  • •Able to set measurable goals and use metrics/incident data to prioritise and iterate; strong cross-functional communication and collaboration.
