Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, design and implement risk management processes tailored to client needs and aligned with best practice.
  • •Facilitate risk workshops with subject matter experts to identify and assess risks.
  • •Create and maintain risk registers and other risk information; challenge data to improve robustness.
  • •Drive the implementation of mitigation actions across projects and programmes.
  • •Conduct Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) for cost and schedule impacts and produce timely risk reporting using Power BI, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Key Requirements

  • •Professional Risk Management experience across whole project lifecycle; nuclear sector experience desirable but not required.
  • •Ability to adapt risk strategies and processes in response to change with excellent communication of complex risk information to stakeholders.
  • •Familiarity with risk management systems such as Safran, @risk, PRA; knowledge of ISO31000, APM, Orange Book, IPA is desirable.
  • •Membership of a professional body (e.g., IRM, Association for Project Management) or willingness to obtain BPSS level security clearance.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication, research and analytical skills, and stakeholder management; experience in a Project Controls team; interest in nuclear sector.
