Job Summary

Serve as a key technical engineer and advisory resource for AMD data center cluster projects at CSP partners and enterprise customers. Build and support tool stacks that enable large-scale GPU deployments, leveraging systems management automation across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and AI/ML components. Help troubleshoot hardware/software issues from bring-up through service entry, provide technical guidance based on customer feedback, mentor junior staff, and support incident escalation procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop an understanding of tools used to support teams bringing up and validating clusters at CSPs and customer data centers.
•Provide advisory-level technical guidance and support for tooling for server clusters focused on large-scale GPU deployments.
•Assist development teams in identifying and resolving hardware/software technical issues across the cluster lifecycle from bring-up to service entry.
•Provide technical guidance to internal teams based on customer feedback from deployment teams and support customers using AMD Instinct server products in clusters.
•Mentor junior technical staff and follow procedures to communicate, report, and escalate incidents to AMD management.

Key Requirements

•Serve as a developer focused on data center systems engineering or platform engineering for large-scale system bringup and validation.
•Use systems management automation tooling to support cluster bringup and validation at CSPs and customer data centers.
•Demonstrate strong skills in AI GPU hardware/software, high-speed data fabrics, and networking for large-scale GPU deployments.
•Provide strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities for resolving hardware/software issues across the cluster lifecycle.
•Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
