Support insured travelers with acute medical issues and accidents abroad by performing initial medical assessment via phone or in writing, leading patient care during travel, and coordinating next steps. Key Responsibilities

•Perform initial medical clarification (by phone/in writing) and lead care for acutely ill or injured patients abroad.

•Coordinate with partners, service providers, and relatives; communicate clearly in German and English.
•Ensure careful, comprehensible documentation and quality-assured decisions despite partial information.
•Work in an interdisciplinary team and use digital tools in day-to-day work.

Key Requirements

•Completed training as nurse (Pflegefachfrau/Pflegefachmann, formerly Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger/in) or as paramedic/EMS professional (Notfallsanitäter/in).
•Several years of experience in direct patient care.
•Very good to negotiable German and English skills (at least C1).
•Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork.
•Structured, careful work with reliable documentation and safe use of common EDV systems.
