Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform initial medical clarification (by phone/in writing) and lead care for acutely ill or injured patients abroad.
  • •Support the physician team with planning and organizing medical repatriations based on the injury/illness profile.
  • •Coordinate with partners, service providers, and relatives; communicate clearly in German and English.
  • •Ensure careful, comprehensible documentation and quality-assured decisions despite partial information.
  • •Work in an interdisciplinary team and use digital tools in day-to-day work.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed training as nurse (Pflegefachfrau/Pflegefachmann, formerly Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger/in) or as paramedic/EMS professional (Notfallsanitäter/in).
  • •Several years of experience in direct patient care.
  • •Very good to negotiable German and English skills (at least C1).
  • •Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork.
  • •Structured, careful work with reliable documentation and safe use of common EDV systems.
