Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist certified/licensed personnel in clinical patient testing in accordance with the SOP
  • •Perform histological preparations for the tissue whole exome sequencing laboratory with little to no errors
  • •Prepare tissues, stained slides, macrodissection and supporting workflow tasks
  • •Set up equipment and assist with automated lab procedures, as applicable
  • •Maintain equipment and instruments in good operating condition and ensure GDP-compliant documentation

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2+ years related experience
  • •Associate's degree, or higher, in histotechnician or in chemical/biological sciences with histology experience; or equivalent training/degree as detailed in the qualifications
  • •Degree must be from the US or equivalent to a US degree at time of hire
  • •Excellent interpersonal, communication, computer, and technical skills
  • •Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in a BSL-2 environment with potential exposure to cold
