Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for HVAC customers in a defined market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial environments while coordinating with team leaders and customers for installations and repairs. Use software/technology and hand tools to diagnose equipment, follow blueprints or engineering specifications, and maintain safety standards and accountability of company assets, including occasional overnight stays.

•Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Serve as direct customer contact and take responsibility for products/equipment on assigned projects to ensure customer satisfaction through diagnosing and repairing systems at customer locations.
•Diagnose and repair HVAC units using software/technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications.
•Maintain flexibility for overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent, with typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; technical school/formal training preferred.
•EPA Certification.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a handheld computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent violations (including DUI, Hit & Run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving).
•Ability to coordinate on-site installation and repairs with a team leader/project manager and customer to forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work.
