Job Summary

Drive quality assurance for the Medicaid Data Warehouse (MDW), a centralized platform for New York State Medicaid data. Partner with business and quality analysts while reporting to the QA project manager to review SDLC deliverables, identify and document QA issues, and recommend improvements for implementation and maintenance of the MDW technical architecture. Evaluate project artifacts across the lifecycle (FRDs, PDDs, PCRs, RTMs, test packages), conduct technical reviews, and help establish QA standards, frameworks, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Assess the quality of contractor SDLC deliverables for adherence to contractual and functional requirements, documenting QA issues and recommendations.
•Review MDW contractor project artifacts throughout the SDLC for quality, compliance, and completeness using standard checklists and comment matrices.
•Provide constructive feedback to ensure system functionality meets user needs.
•Review disaster recovery plans and testing, vendor technical design documents, and transition plans, including technical reviews for change request assessment hours and SLA compliance.
•Contribute to establishing and enhancing QA standards, frameworks, and procedures for business analysis and process improvement.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
•5+ years managing requirements and performing quality reviews aligned to contractual and functional requirements.
•3+ years of experience in quality assurance or auditing, reviewing SDLC documentation and technical architecture artifacts against standards and criteria.
•3+ years working with the Medicaid data warehouse using reporting tools and performing analysis using SQL.
•Willingness to be onsite 50% of the time at the client in Albany, NY.
