Job Summary

Join the Intelligent Infrastructure team to contribute to electrical design for UK infrastructure projects, focusing on LV distribution, feeder pillars, cable routing, earthing, and EV charging integration. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across highways, public realm, and transport hubs, delivering compliant electrical design outputs and coordinating with CAD/technical staff to ensure timely delivery and high-quality CAD outputs.

Key Responsibilities

•Electrical design activities including low voltage distribution, feeder pillars and cabinet design, cable sizing and routing, and earthing design.
•Coordinate electrical load assessments and supply coordination and deliver outputs per UK standards and regulations (BS 7671, Electricity at Work Regulations).
•Support EV charging infrastructure planning and design, including capacity assessment and integration into highway/public realm schemes.
•Coordinate with CAD technicians to ensure drawings are delivered accurately and on schedule.
•Mentor junior engineers/technicians and support multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integrated, compliant designs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical).
•Min 4 years of hands-on experience in Electrical Design for Infrastructure Projects.
•Hands-on experience with Electrical OM, Amtech, or similar electrical design software.
•Experience working with ACC, ProjectWise and SharePoint
•Hands-on experience with AutoCAD
