Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and drive a multi-year DFM roadmap, evolving from routing orders to the right DFM engineer into an AI-driven workbench
  • •Own the intelligent DFM workbench as the single structured record for order requirements, supporting human review and role-specific views
  • •Partner with data science and ML engineering to improve manufacturability models and build a champion/challenger and golden-dataset feedback loop
  • •Define and track measurable metrics (e.g., DFM handle time, sign-off latency, promise-to-capture gap, RMA rate, regional rework) to prioritize the roadmap
  • •Act as the hub across Engineering, Data Science, UX, Sourcing, Pricing, Order Systems, Quality, and DFM teams; present trade-offs and ROI to executives

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of product management experience leading AI/ML-powered or technical products in a B2B marketplace or manufacturing/engineering environment
  • •Own a system of record or complex data contract used by multiple downstream systems and roles, including human-in-the-loop workflows
  • •Design policy-driven workflows such as approval routing, tiered sign-off, and escalation logic
  • •Comfort operating across regions and stakeholder groups to maintain a single global design standard
  • •Familiarity with manufacturing processes and DFM principles (e.g., CNC machining, sheet metal, additive manufacturing, injection molding); ability to dig into geometry-based feasibility rules
