Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead daily management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise firewalls, WAF, and proxy systems.
  • •Design, deploy, and enforce granular zero-trust microsegmentation policies within VMware virtualized environments.
  • •Automate operational workflows by consuming infrastructure REST APIs to update security policies.
  • •Serve as a high-level escalation point for complex network security incidents and scheduled infrastructure changes.
  • •Collaborate with infrastructure and Cloud/DevOps teams and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of hands-on experience with advanced microsegmentation solutions, specifically VMware NSX and/or VSF9.
  • •Proven ability to integrate with and consume NSX APIs and VSF9 APIs for automation tasks.
  • •Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and modern security posture design.
  • •Minimum practical experience leading network security operations, including firewalls, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and proxy systems.
  • •Strong scripting skills in Python for network automation and custom API tooling (infrastructure-as-code and automation support).
