Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote safety by enforcing EHS policies, ensuring required safety training participation, and leading/participating in investigations and corrective action plans for safety incidents.
  • •Provide shift leadership to create a motivating environment and achieve facility goals for safety, service, quality, productivity, cost, and inventory control while recognizing outstanding performance.
  • •Initiate and support operational improvements to increase employee engagement, improve quality, minimize scrap, increase productivity, and strengthen safety.
  • •Ensure execution of standard operating procedures, standard work, quality standards, cycle counts, and safety/housekeeping audits, including troubleshooting process equipment and/or product performance.
  • •Oversee daily team activities, including coaching, counseling, corrective action processes, performance reviews, and participation in Enterprise Lean Sigma (ELS) continuous improvement and Kaizen events.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma and a minimum of 3 years leadership, process improvement, and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to lead, coach, support, and develop a diverse team to achieve operational results through delegation and teamwork.
  • •Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations systems (best practices), processes, and technology, including familiarization with ELS continuous improvement principles and lean sigma tools.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve, implement solutions to prevent recurring problems, and manage time, projects, and organization.
  • •Effective written and verbal communication (active listening) and professional behavior to perform the essential functions of the role and Production Operators work processes as needed.
