Job Summary

Lead data science and strategic analytics projects for Visa’s Global Consumer Payments business. •Lead and deliver data science and strategic analytics projects supporting Visa’s Consumer Payments priorities and growth agenda.
•Partner with business teams to define project scope, select methodologies, and deliver actionable analytics solutions.
•Analyze large datasets and build predictive, descriptive, and diagnostic analytics including segmentation, propensity modeling, forecasting, and portfolio analysis.
•Apply AI/ML, generative AI, and agentic AI to improve analytics delivery, automate workflows, and surface new business insights.
•Build scalable dashboards and data products, ensure quality control and reproducibility, and communicate executive-ready recommendations.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Master’s/MBA/JD/MD), or 2 years with a PhD (or 11+ years relevant experience).
•Excellent programming skills in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience using large-scale data environments such as Spark, Hive, or Hadoop.
•Strong experience with AI/ML, including generative AI, LLMs, and AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and OpenAI Codex.
•Experience with agentic AI concepts and frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or similar orchestration tools.
•Ability to translate analytics into business impact through clear storytelling, executive communication, and stakeholder management.
