Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with data collection/analysis for substation components and design reviews, including IEEE/NESC/NERC compliance
  • •Design support for single line diagrams, bus layout, grounding, and protection concepts
  • •Provide technical assistance on equipment sizing, cabling, and panel/conduit/trenching strategies
  • •Prepare technical reports and documentation using sketches, calculations, and spreadsheets
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams (controls, procurement, permitting) to execute projects
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 1-3 years of post-education experience
  • •Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, design/build processes, and permitting
  • •Familiarity with discipline-specific design software (e.g., CAD, Aspen, CAPE, ETAP) including AutoCAD Electrical
  • •Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team
  • •Willingness to travel occasionally and adhere to safety policies and standards
