Job Summary

Lead and coordinate 3D BIM modeling and E&I design activities for Life Sciences projects, supporting Electrical and Instrumentation modeling with Autodesk Revit. Work with multidisciplinary teams while coordinating Wood Execution Centers and third parties, monitoring model performance, and ensuring adherence to project budget and schedule. Prepare electrical and instrumentation installation details and explore innovative BIM approaches, with occasional site visits and the option to work from home up to two days per week.

•Set up and coordinate 3D model design delivered by Wood Execution Centers, providing E&I technical support and monitoring budget/schedule compliance.
•Visit Execution Centers and coordinate 3D model design delivered by third parties for E&I activities.
•Perform and manage 3D modeling for electrical, low currents, and instrumentation design in coordination with other disciplines.
•Perform and manage E&I design deliverables such as power layouts, low current layouts, lighting calculations, fire & gas layouts, and more.
•Prepare electrical and instrument installation details and hook-ups, and explore innovative BIM usage in engineering.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 3 years of experience in an engineering company environment, with Life Sciences or industrial plants preferred.
•Strong experience with BIM tools and proven proficiency in Autodesk Revit for E&I modeling.
•Knowledge of Electrical and Instrumentation design principles.
•Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
•Fluency in Italian and English (C1 appreciated), and eligibility to work in Italy.
