Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform valuation adjustments (e.g., Independent Price Verification, bid offer, model uncertainty, fair value/prudent valuation adjustments) in line with global valuation guidelines.
  • •Support the global equity valuation team by improving controls and implementing valuation methodologies and recommendations.
  • •Analyze valuation model restrictions and coordinate preparation of management information for committees.
  • •Deliver a single view of Profit & Loss and the Balance Sheet through cooperation with Business Financial Control and Core Product Control.
  • •Reengineer and streamline processes to improve economy of scale and service quality; coordinate with Trading Desks and liaise with Analytics and IT for automated implementations.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in Product Control, Valuation Control, or Market Risk.
  • •Professional Finance qualification (CFA, FRM, CQF, CA) is preferred.
  • •Strong understanding of vanilla and complex derivative products, market risks, and pricing parameters.
  • •Strong IT skills including experience with Excel, VBA, SQL, and Microsoft Access.
  • •Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong quantitative and qualitative analytical ability.
