Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance across the fleet of heavy mobile equipment.
  • •Conduct routine inspections of the digger fleet and determine repair actions when required.
  • •Record, assign, and complete maintenance tasks to the relevant standard/specification using SAP.
  • •Maintain high safety awareness and ensure work complies with company policies and procedures.
  • •Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on increasing safety and reducing risk and cost.

Key Requirements

  • •Maintain a strong safety focus and comply with Rio Tinto Iron Ore Company policies and procedures.
  • •Hold an Electrical Trade Certificate, WA Electrical Licence, and an HV Switching Ticket.
  • •Experience maintaining heavy mining equipment, especially electric drive trucks.
  • •Experience maintaining and repairing Automotive Air Conditioning.
  • •Have an Australian C Class manual drivers’ licence (or equivalent) and full working rights in Australia without sponsorship.
