Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist and support the carpet yarn line operator and other crew members on the carpet yarn line.
  • •Learn and perform required machine and support equipment set-ups, including cutter operation and set-up procedures.
  • •Operate machinery on a substitute basis (CYL assistant operator proficiency) and assist with packaging and quality requirements as needed.
  • •Perform machine preventative maintenance on equipment related to the carpet yarn line.
  • •Report and track production and quality information (scrap, machine efficiency, machine downtime, paper usage) and document/maintain machine logs.
