Key Responsibilities

  • •Technically lead the construction of Mercado Pago digital experiences, turning complex business and financial operational problems into clear, trustworthy, and scalable interfaces.
  • •Drive end-to-end UX delivery across discovery, prototyping, and implementation, aligning design intent with production experience.
  • •Build and evolve AI-native workflows integrating product context, research, design system, code, and validation to shorten the problem-to-learning cycle.
  • •Transform design into code and code into design to produce functional prototypes and final production experiences using real components and constraints from the codebase.
  • •Design, implement, and orchestrate AI agents and tools to optimize workflow exploration, interface generation, documentation, visual testing, accessibility, and technical consistency validation.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid track record in product design, frontend engineering, design systems, or related hybrid roles.
  • •Strong understanding of UX, interaction design, and product design, with the ability to translate visual decisions into stable production code.
  • •Hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, plus component frameworks focused on quality, maintainability, accessibility, and performance.
  • •Practical experience applying generative AI for design and development, including using models to generate, review, and test interfaces.
  • •Experience creating, configuring, or evaluating agent workflows, defining context, tools, instructions, and security boundaries for automation.
