Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the overall PMC site leader and primary point of contact for construction matters, aligning execution with project execution plans.
  • •Provide oversight and assurance of EPC contractor performance, including work sequences, methodologies, progress, manpower, and corrective actions.
  • •Lead safe brownfield integration and SIMOPS management to integrate the new production train within an operating smelter, including interfaces and shutdown/tie-in strategies.
  • •Drive construction planning and schedule performance by validating execution plans, monitoring schedules, and managing workface planning and constraint management.
  • •Lead HSSE, construction quality, mechanical completion/turnover readiness, stakeholder interfaces, and site risk/issue management to protect Owner interests and support successful delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • •Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional accreditation preferred.
  • •20+ years of industrial construction experience.
  • •10+ years in senior site-based project leadership roles with major metallurgical/mining/smelting/refining/steel/copper/ferroalloy/energy projects.
  • •Essential brownfield plant expansion experience; nickel smelter RKEF experience highly desirable.
