Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide frontline privacy support to business stakeholders across product development, sales, marketing, and people teams.
  • •Draft privacy policies, notices, and guidance, and respond to customer data protection and privacy questions.
  • •Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and data protection agreements (including data processing agreements, NDAs, SaaS and vendor agreements).
  • •Collaborate on privacy initiatives such as retention/deletion improvements, PIAs, data inventories, vendor controls, and data subject requests.
  • •Monitor changes to privacy laws and regulations, maintain privacy/customer assurance operations tools and processes, and support training and the knowledge base.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 87,700 - 122,700

Key Requirements

  • •5 years of demonstrated privacy, legal, or compliance experience (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •A law degree from a recognized university.
  • •Familiarity and comfort with privacy laws and principles, including GDPR; IAPP or other privacy certifications or equivalent SaaS/technology experience.
  • •Ability to provide proactive, customer-focused support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and process/timeline management skills.
