Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct the HSES & Training function and continuous improvement of programs across three sites.
  • •Establish and maintain KPIs to measure site HSES performance.
  • •Ensure HSES programs/practices meet Operational Excellence Standards and comply with local, state, and federal requirements.
  • •Proactively develop and deploy HSES programs to reduce injuries/illnesses and prevent harm to the environment.
  • •Manage a team of 14 HSES & Training professionals and coordinate activities of select contractors, while acting as the interface with HSES regulatory agencies.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. degree in engineering, relevant sciences, or a specific HSES discipline.
  • •Minimum 8+ years of relevant HSES and leadership experience in the chemical (or equivalent) industry.
  • •Prior supervisory experience.
  • •Working knowledge of regulatory processes applicable to plant operations, including representing the company to regulatory agencies.
