Job Summary

Lead and provide technical direction on wastewater and urban drainage modelling projects within the Water Team, delivering hydraulic modelling studies using Infoworks ICM and other analysis to assess asset performance. Build new models and adapt existing ones, collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely delivery of complex water infrastructure projects for UK/India contexts.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide leadership and technical support on water and/or wastewater projects as part of a project team.
•Roles include network modelling and support for engineers and senior engineers; development of feasibility studies and optioneering.
•Model calibration, verification, needs assessment and optioneering; preparation of reports and supporting drawings.
•Definition of work needed by field investigation teams and responsive client relationships at all levels.
•Attend project meetings internally and with clients via video conferencing; ongoing professional development under guidance of line manager.

Key Requirements

•Masters Degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
•Professional accreditation from ICE or CIWEM or pursuing
•Good understanding of water and wastewater projects; experience with UK Water Industry standards is preferred
•Experience in UK Water distribution projects: urban drainage modelling and wastewater modelling; model verification and needs assessment/option pricing
•Experience with Infoworks ICM and GIS software; proficiency in MS Office; strong written and verbal communication in English
