Lead and optimize the courier fleet operation across Sydney, ensuring consistent, reliable, and cost-effective service. Own the fleet cost base and drive cost control across labor, routes, vehicle usage, and productivity. Deliver minimum 95% service performance through planning, execution, and performance management. Key Responsibilities

•Lead end-to-end fleet operations across Sydney aligned with business strategy and operational targets.
•Deliver and sustain at least 95% service performance through effective planning, execution, and performance management.
•Own and manage the fleet cost base, driving cost control initiatives across labor, routes, vehicle usage, and productivity.
•Develop and monitor operational plans to improve efficiency, utilization, and service reliability.
•Lead, coach, and develop Senior Fleet Managers and Fleet Managers; establish KPI metrics and accountability frameworks, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in a fleet, transport, or logistics operations leadership role.
•Demonstrated success managing large, multi-layered teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
•Strong financial acumen with experience managing and reducing operational cost bases.
•Track record of delivering high service performance in logistics or distribution environments.
•Experience leading change and continuous improvement initiatives; tertiary qualification in a related discipline is preferred.
