Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
  • •Assemble calculation packages for the sizing of electrical equipment.
  • •Perform early project design work such as conceptual studies, electrical loads, equipment sizing and selection, datasheets, and general arrangements.
  • •Assist in the review of vendor shop drawings in accordance with industry codes and standards as well as project specific requirements.
  • •Work with existing and potential clients to provide electrical engineering and design solutions on mining projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in electrical engineering
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License
  • •PE in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, or ability to acquire a PE
  • •On-site field experience in construction, commissioning and start-ups
  • •MSHA Miner training
