Join the Cisco Silicon One Switch ASIC Post-Silicon Electrical Validation (EPSV) team to ensure complex ASICs meet specifications and operate reliably over time. You’ll build validation plans, run high-precision electrical measurements with advanced lab equipment, write and execute Python tests over the device SDK, and analyze results. Collaborate across hardware, software, and system domains to perform deep-dive root-cause investigations for electrical chip issues.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure the ASIC operates according to specifications and reliably over time using advanced test equipment and procedures.
•Perform deep-dive investigations across hardware, software, and system domains to identify root causes of observed behavior.
•Build validation plans for chip validation and electrical performance verification.
•Conduct EPSV using advanced test and measurement equipment.
•Write, execute, and analyze Python tests over the device SDK to validate results.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
•At least 3 years of experience in hardware or post-silicon validation.
•Hands-on lab experience performing high-speed, clock, and precise voltage measurements.
•Knowledge of high-speed interfaces and high-power DC/DC design.
•Experience debugging and validating ASIC bring-up on EVBs with Board Design, FPGA, SerDes, and software teams.
