Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and test software components that make up the IFEC distributed system.
  • •Develop Android framework services and Java server-side components on Linux-based systems.
  • •Create proof-of-concepts to demonstrate new ideas and technologies.
  • •Ensure quality by maintaining code maintainability and testability throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with minimum 8+ years of experience.
  • •8+ years designing and developing Android and/or Linux-based systems in an industrial process.
  • •Fluency in Java for Android application/framework development, including work with Android framework services (Android API level 21).
  • •Experience with modifying/creating Android Platform services, plus Java design patterns and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • •Hands-on experience with software development lifecycle practices (requirements analysis, design, implementation, code review, testing, release) and Agile/Scrum; familiarity with TDD (google test).
