Homeowners Assistance Counselor

Counsel and guide consumer and mortgage loan customers who are in default to pursue loss mitigation workout alternatives. You’ll initiate contact, make collection/demand calls, analyze delinquency and collateral risk, and recommend options such as forbearance, repayment plans, modifications, and pre-foreclosure outcomes. Manage documentation, record collection efforts, escalate complex cases, and ensure compliance with investor, company, FDCPA, Privacy Act, and state guidelines while supporting positive customer experience and risk management.
