Key Responsibilities

•Evaluate and evolve the marketing web stack, maintaining WordPress/Gutenberg while charting the path forward.
•Design reusable infrastructure, templates, and workflows so marketing can launch and update pages independently.
•Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to turn designs and requests into practical, scalable web solutions.
•Translate ambiguous business needs into solutions balancing speed, accessibility (WCAG), performance (Core Web Vitals), SEO/GEO, and maintainability.
•Own delivery end to end and keep the site performant, responsive, accessible, secure, and cross-browser compatible.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 116,000 - 152,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Strong front-end and architectural skills with HTML, CSS/SCSS, modern JavaScript (ES), and React.
•Experience with headless or API-driven architectures and sufficient WordPress/Gutenberg depth (custom post types, taxonomies, hooks, REST API).
•Experience working with security teams and operating sites via WP Engine or similar managed hosting platforms.
•Evidence of changing how a web team operates, including independently handling systems, architectural shifts, or migrations.
•Daily use of AI-powered development tools (e.g., Cursor, v0, Bolt, Claude) and experience building for scale with component libraries, templates, and guardrails.
