Job Summary

Support overnight production by cleaning and maintaining machinery and conveyors, keeping equipment clear of debris, and operating production equipment such as hoppers, bagging and sealer machines, forklifts, and palletizers. Help with loading and unloading trucks, clean floors, remove trash and scrap for salvage, and maintain, verify, and count product inventory. Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout practices.

Job Function: Manufacturing & Production Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Clean-up machinery and conveyors, maintain surrounding areas, and keep equipment free of debris during downtime
•Operate equipment such as hoppers, bagging and sealer machines, forklift, palletizers, hydraulic equipment, and powered vehicles
•Clean floors and pick up reusable scrap for salvage; transport trash and debris away from production areas
•Operate a variety of hand tools
•Assist in loading/unloading trucks and maintain, verify, and count product inventory

Key Requirements

•Requires pre-employment drug screening/background test
•High school diploma/equivalent, or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience

•Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. from ground level
