Key Responsibilities

  • •Strengthen health information systems at national and district levels by maximizing use of DHIS2, IDSR, and eRegister.
  • •Support integration and linkage of programme data systems, including disease and climate change surveillance data.
  • •Generate routine immunization data (at least monthly) and share analyses with administrative levels and stakeholders.
  • •Support outbreak detection and response through data collection tools, real-time data management, dashboards, and situational reports.
  • •Provide data quality support through training, supportive supervision, and mentorship, including audits, assessments, and reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •First university degree in Public Health; Epidemiology; Statistics/Data Science; Health Information Systems; or Social Sciences.
  • •At least two years of related experience in public health and/or managing health-related data.
  • •Expert knowledge of English; intermediate knowledge of Sesotho is desirable.
  • •Experience working with outbreak-related data management or health systems data management is desirable.
  • •Knowledge of data management and collaborative, multi-sectoral partnerships with stakeholders and partners.
