Job Summary

Lead the design, development, integration, and verification of embedded aerospace software, providing architectural direction and technical guidance to engineering teams. Decompose requirements into high-level software requirements, drive design/code reviews and technical decision-making, and mentor engineers. Build and optimize real-time embedded software, develop low-level device drivers and communication protocol software, and support CI/CD workflows, configuration management, and verification/certification deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead embedded software design, development, integration, and verification for aerospace systems.
•Provide technical guidance and architectural direction; decompose system requirements into software high-level requirements.
•Drive software and design decision-making through requirements/design/code reviews and technical evaluations.
•Develop and maintain embedded application software, including low-level device drivers and communication protocol software.
•Support CI/CD, software configuration management, release activities, verification traceability, and compliance with aerospace software processes and standards.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 12 years of industry experience in safety-critical (preferably aerospace) domains, including embedded software life cycle work per DO-178C processes.
•Aerospace or avionics software development experience and knowledge of DO-178C and certification processes.
•Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or Polarion.
•Experience with Git/Bitbucket and CI tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI (or equivalents), plus software verification, regression testing, and structural coverage concepts.
•Strong Python programming experience; bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Information Technology.
