Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager will lead complex healthcare/pharma software implementations, guiding cross-functional teams through discovery, design, build, and configuration to deliver on time, within budget, and with quality. You’ll serve as the client’s primary contact, mitigate risks, and coordinate with Solution/Technical Architects and Business Analysts to ensure successful delivery across global teams in a consulting-like context.

Key Responsibilities

•Own overall project management during an engagement; participate in discovery and requirement workshops to define and prioritize requirements, collaborate with project team members to design appropriate solutions, execute projects in a timely manner with clear expectation setting and communication to all stakeholders.
•Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope and effectively apply our methodology or client’s methodology if being used and enforce project standards; create, maintain, and own standard project deliverables (status decks, milestone kickoff decks, project plans, burn reports, RAID logs, build progress trackers).
•Manage timelines, budget, and scope deliverables as documented in the SOW. Accurately communicate and report the project status to reflect risks or issues that may impact schedule, budget, or quality.
•Proactively identify and manage project risks; escalate and work to resolve major risks and issues so a mitigation plan can be developed.
•Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

Key Requirements

•5+ years of professional experience in project management.
•Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical industry experience.
•Project management experience with software or custom development implementations—ideally in a consulting environment.
•Proven ability to work across global teams and influence project contributors and stakeholders at all levels.
•Demonstrated experience with Waterfall and/or SCRUM methodologies.
