Job Summary

Lead ecology deliverables for UK clients, preparing tenders and overseeing technical, commercial, and financial aspects of projects. Work closely with regional and team leadership to manage workload and ensure technical quality. Support and mentor junior ecologists through site- and office-based collaboration. Apply expertise in habitat surveys, protected species, Ecological Impact Assessment, Environmental Statement chapters, and Habitats Regulations Assessment, including mitigation and regulator agreement.

Key Requirements

•Experience across a range of UK habitats and protected species, holding (or having held) survey and/or mitigation licences.
•Proven record supporting clients with survey programmes and pragmatic, cost-effective mitigation, including regulator agreement and on-site implementation supervision.
•Experience of Ecological Impact Assessment and writing Environmental Statement chapters.
•Experience of Habitats Regulations Assessment.
•Proven record winning work from commercial clients, particularly in residential, mixed use and industrial sectors.
